This 10.1″ tablet is rocking a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2o n a 1280 x 800 resolution, 5 megapixel camera, 720p video recording and 1080p video playback, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and 32GB of storage. The battery is rated to be capable of supporting 10 hours of video.

In this first video we get to see some game play on the Xoom with Monster Madness which was ported from the console game so you’ll get all the levels you need . There are three control modes that let you toggle between two on-screen analog sticks. The first is a fully accelerometer-based mode that you won’t be able to use on public transportation for fear of hitting someone as you have to tilt the screen quite a bit. The developer also noted that there’s a low-res mode that he actually toggled to when he entered into an area of the game with a lot of water. He mentioned that these effects slowed down the unit which is surprising since it’s running on Unreal Engine and is fully optimized for multiple cores. Looks like the limits of this tablet are being pushed from day one. What we also get to see a bit of is multitasking and the presentation of data when looking at multiple apps. Its better just to watch the video, a picture is worth a thousand words.

The next video shows off Grocery IQ which is a shopping list with integrated coupons. Its a familiar port as its already available on Android and iOS. What is interesting about this demo is that you get to see “application fragment” layout switching between landscape and portrait views, meaning this app has a two-pane view for tablets. We’ll also get a closer look at adding and removing widgets.
