BBC business editor Tim Weber has heard straight from Michael Dell that Dell will be shipping “iPad-sized” tablets as soon as Honeycomb hits. Dell didn’t say when Honeycomb was going to arrive but Tim has heard from a “well-placed” source that Honeycomb is just weeks away, or mid-February and the Android Honeycomb event invites for early February back this up. Sounds like the Dell Streak 10, which is no secret and was quickly announced at CES at the start of the year with a “coming soon” message. CNET hears it’ll be geared towards business and enterprise users with built-in support for VPN and other business related features. Dell is just about to launch a 7-inch tablet, the Streak 7, very shortly in the US.
