Late last year, news came out about the newest Latitude 2120 netbook (taking over the 2110) from Dell, which was supposed to debut at CES at the start of this year but I don’t recall seeing anything about it. Nonetheless, it’s now up for pre-order at Dell.com with pricing for the cheapest model starting at $414. All models are expected to ship next month on the 9th.
The higher end models sport a dual core Atom N550 processor and HD 1366 x 768 display while the lower end models get the standard 1024 x 600 and a single core Atom N455 processor. Like previous models, the screen is anti-glare matte. The cheapest model comes with Ubuntu 10.10 while the rest get Windows 7 Home Premium. Other options include a 2.0MP webcam, touchscreen, tamper-resistant anti-microbial keyboard and 7200RPM HDDs.
