If you take a look at Lenovo’s new products showcase page, those ones announced at CES last week, you’ll notice that a couple of them may not be released in the US. That is, the 10-inch IdeaPad S100 and 11.6-inch AMD Fusion based Ideapad S205. The refreshed IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is ‘available in China only’ but we’ve heard numerous times that the company hopes to get it released in the US and the product page suggests this as well.
The IdeaPad S100 which is pretty much an IdeaPad S10-3s with a dual core Atom N570 processor, is labeled ‘may not be available in the US’. The IdeaPad S205, powered by a Zacate AMD E-350 Fusion APU is labeled ‘not available in the US’. That’s despite both being announced with a release date in March and April with US pricing starting at $330. Then again, neither last year’s IdeaPad S10-3s and AMD Nile based IdeaPad U165 were released in the US but these two did follow on directly from a couple of similar models.
