A netbook that Runs on AA Batteries?!?!? NorhTech Gecko, the same company that sells the some assembly required netbook to Asian markets is making it way into the US market with its $199 AA-powered netbook.The crew at Lilliputing just got their tester of the 8.9″ netbook with a 1GHz Xcore86 processor, 512MB of RAM, an 8GB SD card also with 1024 x 600 screen resolution. Almost every component can be swapped out for a more powerful variant, including the processor. Which does get you thinking, especially for the education market NorhTech is targeting. What we can’t wait to see is how long those AAs last under some real use. Can’t believe it? Here is the video
