Some Samsung Galaxy Tab owners may be relieved that see that Samsung didn’t show off rumored any Tegra 2 based Galaxy Tab but they probably let out a little sigh when they spotted an upgraded Samsung Galaxy Tab headed to Verizon in the US.

The refreshed Galaxy Tab upgrades Samsung’s own Hummingbird 1GHz processor up to 1.2GHz, adds in a 4G LTE modem and bumps up that rear 3MP camera into 2010 (yeah, last year) with a 5MP camera. There’s no word on price or availability at the moment. There is also no Android upgrade, still Froyo like the WiFi only model.
