Gigabyte will try to grab a piece of this year’s consumer tablet pie with the newly announced Gigabyte S1080 – a 10-inch slate running on netbook specs with Windows 7. It’s got a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch display, dual core Atom N550 processor, 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 1.3MP webcam, USB 3.0 and VGA ports and some version of Windows 7. Weight comes in at 0.9 kg / 1.98 lb.
