RIM hasn’t shown off its 7-inch BlackBerry Playbook tablet yet at CES but they’ve fired off some promo videos. One showing off web browsing on the tablet “the way it was meant to be seen” or just viewing content inline, if you will.
We get to see some inline Flash action via a YouTube video and a flash game on Facebook, together with browsing some sites on desktop versions. Basically, they are trying to say you can browse the web just like you do on your desktop PC, with ‘no compromises’ without having to resort to apps and without any slow downs. That won’t stop developers from making apps of their websites, and in a lot of cases such apps are more optimized for the touch experience.
