“Deliciously styled and precision crafted, the MSNB-2009 takes a sophisticated approach to mobile computing.  With sleek lines, a unique seamless touchpad and a vibrant LED backlit display, expect a touch of class without compromise”

Despite M&S’s hyperbole, this new addition to the Netbook market is just a re-badged Elonex 10″ model, and brings essentially nothing new to the table, sporting entirely yawn-worthy internals built around a 1.6Ghz Atom processor, 1Gb RAM and a 160Gb HDD.  At £279 ($449) it isn’t exactly cheap either.  It’s pretty clear who this model is aimed at – it’s available in pink, and the website claims “You’ll be sure to turn heads when you slip it out of your handbag when you’re out and about”.  Let’s just hope that those handbag toting M&S shoppers do their research and don’t pay above the odds for an uninspiring model with ageing components.
