CR-48 Chrome OS Notebooks Destroyed, Work Still Gets Done

What happens when you lose or accidentally destroy (or intentionally, in this case) a Chrome OS netbook or notebook? You get a new one immediately (one of those CR-48 beta testing units) so you can continue on working because all your data is in the cloud, well, maybe if you work for Google. 25 Chrome notebooks were harmed in the making of this video and that lost cat wasn’t really lost.

    I dare anyone with a Chrome OS notebook to edit a 20 minute 1080p HD video. The “cloud” is not there yet. Even uploading massive amounts of GB video takes time. If you are to edit with a HTML 5 or Flash video editor the results are inferior to something done on a desktop computer. Was that video edited on a Chrome notebook? No.

    I guess for other simple things like writing and minor image editing it will be ok.
