Then last time I came across Hannspree Inc they had a MSI Wind clone & a TV surrounded by a giant stuffed animal. It seems this company with a reputation as a television manufacturer is also getting into tablets, the 10.1 unit is an LED backlit multitouch screen. The HANNSpad has a microSD slot, HDMI output, headphone jack, and 16GB of internal memory.

It weighs 750g, and battery life is eight hours. Under the hood there’s a Tegra 2 chipset. Running Android 2.2 with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage the video below shows a first impression that is only lukewarm. The Hannspad is priced at £349, almost the same as the Folio 100, but could be priced lower than that when it arrives at the Carphone Warehouse. Next year there’ll be a 3G version, and versions with cameras.

Check out the video below to see for your self.
