Looks like there were some new gadgets at Pepcom in NYC after all. Marvell had some reference designs for HD tablets with Android 2.2: 10-inch, 1280 x 780 resolution, and an Armada 600 chip. We’ve seen these tablets before at a few shows (Netbook Summit and IDF 2010) but they were on stage and not turned on. So its nice that Marvell is finally ready to show them off, turned on!

The new Marvell Armada 600 tablet should have enough juice to output to two external monitors, we’ll take their word for since all Ross over at Engadget got to do was play Angry Birds on a big screen. Like the other prototypes we’ve seen kicking around since September its blatantly a protype and feels like its in pre production. Which it is, since Marvell is a semi conductor company and they don’t actually make final products. Expect to see this hanging out around a few different booths at CES in January.

If you want to check out the rest of Marvell’s tablets click here, but we’ve already seen them a few times, the last being at Mobilize 2010 in September.
