Handset manufacturers are all looking to get into the tablet game, RIM has the Playbook, Nokia the Z500 and now Motorola has the MOTOPAD Android Tablet sporting Tegra 2. The MOTOPAD is rumored to be the first tablet launching with Honeycomb or Android 2.3. The word on the street is that it may be shipping in February or March with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core chipset which out of the three tablets listed above this would be the one for gaming.

Digitimes also reports that Tegra 2 tablets are going to be all the rage at CES 2011 in January. Though Motorola may be first to the market with a Honeycomb tablet, it won’t have center stage for long as LGs Optimus Pad, another Android Tablet with Tegra 2, is meant to launch shortly after the MOTOPAD.
