As we mentioned yesterday, the Tegra 2 tablets have been unleashed onto the public. The American public will get their first taste with the ViewSonic G-Tablet and those in Europe and the UK have the Toshiba Folio 100 which is now shipping over there. Engadget confirmed that it won’t be heading to the US but that’s hardly any loss because there will be plenty of contenders available.
Germany gets it for 429 euros for the WiFi model and 529 for the 3G model which will be out in Q1 2011. Italy has it a little cheaper at 399 and 499 euros and then UK gets the WiFi one for 329 euros.

Recapping the specs – a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 multitouch capacitive display, Android 2.2, Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 16GB internal storage, 1.3MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB, mini-USB and SD card ports and a seven hour battery. Instead of Android Marketplace is Toshiba’s own app store. Weighs 760 g.
