Looks like Android is playing catch up nicely with content available in its ecosystem, especially on the highly coveted Tegra 2 devices. SouthPeak Interactive is coming to market with Android titles for Android smartphones and tablets powered by the dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
What games they are thinking of remains a mystery, but atleast we know who to keep an eye on around CES for demo’s on the swarm of Android tablets we are expecting. Something to keep in mind is they have announced a working relationship with Unreal Engine 3 and promised to showcase faster frame rates, phenomenal graphics, and broader development capabilities.

Melanie Mroz, President and CEO of SouthPeak Interactive is clearly excited to be working on a graphics powerhouse of a hardware platform and for the O/S: “Android’s rapidly growing market share represents a huge opportunity for SouthPeak and we are proud to be at the forefront of introducing high-quality games applications to this market.”
When shall we expect these new titles? Well they claim that they’ll showing up the “beginning during the Holiday period of 2010″. There are a few Tegra devices on the market but clearly these are being released in anticipation for the bevy of Tegra 2 tablets we’ll be seeing at CES.
