Hands on with the Aiptek Storybook inColor and eBook Reader designed for Kids. It has a color LCD Screen with about 2 hours of battery life and comes with 1G of onboard storage. If this doesn’t seem like enough it also has a 1-3 card reader.
UpLinq 2010 in San Diego June 30- July 1, 2010 was full of innovative products and devices. Netbook News was there to capture innovations around mHealth with the Dexcon Wireless Bandaid Offers 7 Days Glucose Monitoring and Bluetooth stethoscopes. Snapdragon tablets are the talk of the town but not at UpLinq, but we did get a hands on with the Snapdragon SDK on the MSM8655 handheld device. Another advancement that it was good to see was around Augmented Reality, Mattel has come out with a remake of the 1960s game Rockem’ Sockem’ whose effects are visually stunning.
