Just prior to this year’s IFA in Berlin, PocketBook announced the PocketBook IQ 7-inch Android tablet which is being marketed as an e-reader with tablet functionality (you can install apps and view multimedia). We haven’t heard anything since then but it’s just shown up at the FCC (for the  second time apparently) so perhaps a release in the US might be possible soon.

It sports Android 2.0 (with an upgrade to 2.2 in December), a 7-inch 800 x 600 touchscreen, 533MHz processor, b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mini USB, SD card and headphone jack, a 24 hour battery and supports text to speech.
