Lenovo is apparently considering coming to market with an enterprise focused Thinkpad Tablet. This is pretty much Senior vice president of Lenovo’s Think Product Group, Peter Hortensiuis, thinking out loud as he suggests a ThinkPad tablet would serve as a complement to PCs in many business environments.

“As it makes sense we’ll absolutely enter that market,” Hortensius told Computerworld “I think we have a great foundation from which to build for that.”

Lenovo already has the basics of making an excellent touch screen device with their netvertible line up and we are already waiting for the IdeaPad U1, a hybrid tablet aimed at the consumer market this December. The hybrid design includes a detachable keyboard and is based on the company’s upcoming LePad tablet running Android.

Hortensius provided few details regarding the ThinkPad tablet, although the device is expected to focus on long battery life and a variety of input capabilities. Only time will tell if Lenovo is going to release something, my money is on the fact that they just on the band wangon around CES.
