    Forget the SSD, give me that Gigabyte mainboard! How long has Gigabyte had USB 3.0?
  • the problem in all this will be intel, as they seem to take their sweet time launching chipsets with usb3 support, creating a bit of a chicken and egg situation as who would bother releasing usb3 connectivity products until there are computers that ship with it preinstalled?

    and on top of that, there is the fiber based connection intel is developing in cooperation with apple, that will probably show up in future macs. So while intel was on the usb side during the last round of firewire vs usb, this time, they may well be on the other...
  • Wicked good video, loved it. Now I have to get hold of a few of these MacPower USB 3.0 enclosures :)
