Rumors have surfaced again for Apple’s 7-inch iPad and 11.6-inch MacBook Air. First the iPad. Last time we heard that it would have the same specs as the refreshed 10-inch iPad including an IPS display with the same 1024 x 768 resolution and a Cortex-A9 processor and that it was already complete with a possible release date in early 2011. Now Shanzai.com has gotten the same word that this 7-inch iPad is real, is a finished product and will resemble the iPhone 4 in design rather than the current iPad.
Then there’s that 11.6-inch MacBook Air rumor. Last we heard was that it was going to surface this month, have Intel’s Core i series processors on board and be even slimmer and lighter than the current MacBook Air. Now, Digitimes reports that Quanta has landed orders for a 11.6-inch MacBook from apple, with shipments made before the end of 2010.
